Dog Remedies

The emotional well being of your dog.

It is easy to see why dogs are called ''man's best friend.'' Dogs are loyal, forgiving and love you unconditionally. Dogs, like humans, experience different emotional states in different situations, and because your dog lives in close proximity to you, he / she is particularly sensitive and vulnerable to your emotions. An effective way to help the emotional wellbeing of your dog is the use of flower essences.

Nature's Solutions (TM) flower essence remedies for dogs

Each remedy is a combination of 4-6 different flower essences. The remedies are to help deal with some of the more common problems that can arise with dogs.

The remedy can be put in your dog's food, or, if safe to do so, you can lift the lip and squirt directly onto gum or inner lining of mouth. The dosage is 4 -7 drops once daily, except in the case of Support Remedy and Calming Remedy, which are given more frequently as needed. The appropriate remedy is usually given for 1-2 weeks and repeated later if needed.

The following is a list of some common conditions to help you choose the appropriate remedy. Trust your intuition and knowledge of your dog in choosing the appropriate remedy as different needs arise.

When selecting remedies for your dog, it is also helpful to first try and establish what is “going on” with him/her.
e.g. is he barking because he is lonely when everyone is at work, school etc?

In other words, try and establish if something is causing the behaviour / symptoms. If so, it's usually very helpful to address the cause alongside the symptoms. Hence, the barking dog could be given Lonely remedy as well as Barking remedy

In addressing the cause as well as the symptoms, the animal is usually afforded a much greater chance to heal his imbalances and achieve greater emotional wellbeing. This is then reflected in a more positive and obvious change in their behaviour

Is your dog's situation not addressed by the remedies listed above?
We are also available to discuss prepaing "tailor-made" (custom made) remedies via a consultation...

CONSULTATIONS:

The first 15 minutes consultation is free with a fee of $5.00 (plus GST within Aus.) applying for each 10 minute (block) of consultation time that the Center thereafter engages in.
Consultations avaiable by e-mail / Skype / letter / phone.
(Customers to phone or Skype the Center, thank you)

The Center generally encourages consultations (- if only a brief, free 15 minute one) as discussing one's dog can often lead to a fuller or clearer picture of the siuation emerging. e.g. a person may have a dog that has begun barking alot. The Barking Remedy may therefore seem the obvious choice of remedy. However, when discussing the dog, the person may realise that their son moving out of the house may be a factor in the situation, as the dog adored him and is no doubt missing him terribly. The barking therefore may be an outlet, expression of his grief and stress at losing his human friend. Hence, a combination of the Calming and Attachment remedies may better suit the situation than the Barking Remedy.

Flower remedies should not replace important veterinarian attention!
Please note, behavioural problems can sometimes be an indication that an animal is sick.
If your pet's health is in doubt, seek medical assistance.
