Below you will find the Universal Energies Rose Essences and a brief description * of each essence.
This range of rose essences was developed over 15 years by Jane Young, an experienced naturopath and spiritual counsellor living in Australia. Jane has worked with essences for many years and is the creator of the Natures Solution’s animal flower essences formulas available through the Center.
She has worked extensively in the field of natural remedies in her capacity as naturopath and counsellor: with her husband, she ran the very popular health magazine "A-Z of Health", and has run a busy practice for many years
The message of the Rose Essences is Love. As Jane explains:
"Rose Essences form an interconnected system to help heal the ‘separation’ from Spirit. They are vibrational remedies and are of a particularly fine, high, vibration - all enhance heart and crown centre consciousness.
Each rose essence has a message. The message of all roses is inspirational in nature.
To be inspired is to have a shift in your state of mind, to be uplifted, to be ‘in Spirited’. The perfection and beauty of Spirit manifesting in the physical realm is exemplified in the rose.
We can each manifest and express the peace and beauty of Spirit in our lives, by opening to this within ourselves first, then allowing it to unfold in our world. Rose Essences help you let the blocks to Love go, so help you as you open to Spirit and ‘in-Spirit’ your life, your relationships, your world.

Foundation Set
The initial essences of this range are presented as the "Foundation Set":
- Gold Rose: Opening Essence

Letting go of judgement. Opening your mind to the truth.
Truth is available to all of us. Judgement interferes with our awareness of the truth. It is our choice whether we open our minds to truth and the thoughts that come from this, or close our minds by judging. By letting go of judgement and opening your mind to the truth, you open to new possibilities, new solutions, new ways and answers that are here with you now. You start to access the true wisdom and Power of your mind.
- Healer’s Rose: Empowerment Essence
- Helps to awaken you to the Healer within. The Power is within each of us to heal ourselves.
Too often we place the power outside ourselves by looking for something outside to heal us, to change things for us. Many things can help you, but the Power that heals you is within you - the Energy of Love.
- Red Rose: Enslavement Essence

A powerful essence - of benefit for feeling enslaved, feeling powerless. This essence helps to dispel deep seated guilt. Guilt results in limiting, enslaving situations, relationships, habits, all held in place by guilt. Guilt prevents you sharing Universal will for you. Freedom comes from letting go of guilt and opening to your Will - Universal Will for peace and happiness for you.
- Pink Rose: Entrapment Essence
- We become entrapped through fear. We become trapped in situations, circumstances, habits, needs, mental and behavioural patterns, that we can’t seem to find a way out of, or are too frightened to change. Fear closes your heart and closes your mind, so interferes with your awareness of the wisdom and Power that is within, and with you always. This essence helps to dispel fear (regardless of the form).
- Pink Rose: Emerging Essence
- Helps you to emerge from the past - from grief, defeat, suffering. This essence helps you to see all things in a new way, through the eyes of Love now, so helps you to emerge from a disheartened, dispirited state, to "in heart","in-Spirited" state now.
The Foundation Set consists of:

* information and discussion on each essence, healing thoughts to use in meditation
* a set of (color) rose cards depicting each rose.
The Set covers some of the basic principles of healing - you will be able to return to the information often during the healing process.
All essences are in 15 ml blue glass dropper bottles, stock strength only.
The essences come in a box with an accompanying folder: both are handmade from mulberry bark and petals.

The Flower Essence Center is happy to announce that the “Healers Rose” essence, available as part of the Foundation Set, is now also available as a single essence.
This wonderful essence can assist you in the self healing process.
The Healer’s Rose Essence helps to awaken you to
the healing power within you.
It can be used whenever there is a need to tap into inner resources, so can be used in
acute crisis situations, for anxiety, panic etc, as well as in sickness, or for self healing on a deeper level.
Helps to promote inner strength and calm, stimulates healing on all levels.

The following new single rose essences are now available:
"Loved" Rose Essence
This essence helps to heal feeling unloved, unlovable. These feelings can result in emotional patterns such as neediness, insecurity, jealousy, feeling rejected, not good enough etc. These patterns can in turn lead to unloving behaviour, which further reinforces the belief in being unloved, unlovable. It helps open you to the awareness of your essential nature –loving, loved and lovable.
"Allowing" Rose Essence
This essence is for when it is time to let go the struggle and simply allow. Let go the need to push, control, ‘fix’, change others, everything. Through learning to allow, you detach from what is not of heart and soul and allow Love through for you.
"Motive" Rose Essence
This essence helps you to let go of what is interfering with you being motivated from your heart in your life. Helps you to be true to your heart and soul - so that you love what you do and do what you love.
"Sacrifice" Rose Essence
This essence is helpful to heal patterns relating to self sacrifice - for those who always sacrifice themselves [or feel they have to sacrifice themselves] in some way e.g. sacrifice their needs, their joy. The belief in sacrifice interferes with you feeling the joy of your heart and Spirit, the joy of Love in your life, for you, now.
"Feminine" Rose Essence
Enhances the healing of the female – balances, restores, rejuvenates, nurtures the female.
This essence is useful when there has been interference or suppression of the expression, manifestation of feminine aspects. Helps to let go of beliefs, concepts, feelings, emotions interfering with you developing as a female, feeling fulfilled as a female. When you are centered in your heart and soul, being a female is a celebration, not a sacrifice, liberation not enslavement.
Useful for all issues related to the female –e.g. for pain, hurt, trauma relating to mother, relationships, sexuality. For patterns relating to the feeling safe, protected, supported, loved as a female. For balance in the male/female within, this essence helps bring balance to all aspects e.g. balancing strength, assertion with gentleness, active doing with being passive, receptive.
Enhances feminine intuitive abilities, bringing insights and understanding related to the issues you are dealing with.
